To inspire,
educate,
& compete.
Silver Owl began with a frustration. Too many local robotics programs treated kids as customers, not as engineers. We knew young people deserved better — coaches who’d competed at the highest level, parts and tools on demand, and a culture where dedication actually paid off.
Five years later, we’re Ontario’s most decorated VEX club. Our alumni are at Waterloo, U of T, UBC, and McMaster — many in the exact engineering and computer science programs they targeted on day one.
We still hold to the same belief: complete beginners can become world competitors. It just takes the right framework — and we’ve spent half a decade refining ours.
That principle shapes every decision we make — from how many teams we run per season to which coaches we hire to how many parts we keep in the lab. Less, but better. Always.
