Robotics, engineering & coding — for grades 2–7.
Our VEX IQ Program gives students in Grades 2–7 an exciting way to learn robotics, engineering, and programming in a fun, collaborative environment. Snap-together hardware means kids build real, working robots from day one — then program them with blocks, Python, or C as they grow.
Two programs. Pick one — or both.
The Lesson Program teaches skills through structured 8-week courses. The Competition Program puts those skills to work in real VEX IQ tournaments. Most families do both.
✦ The Lesson Program and Competition Program can be taken at the same time, billed independently.
Six courses. Three tracks. Your choice.
Every course is 8 weeks, 2 hours per class, $480, capped at 8 students. Pick what fits — your child can take more than one at once.
Inclusive Robotics
A 2-month custom game challenge for all skill levels. Drivetrain provided — students focus on building, practicing, and competing.
Building Fundamentals
Learn how VEX IQ pieces work. By week 8, your child builds a drivetrain that grabs and scores balls.
Intermediate Building
The mechanisms that win competitions: 4-bar & DR4B arms, intakes, claws, linear slides, flywheels, ratchets & PTOs.
Block Code Beginner
Start coding from day one with VEXcode IQ. Drive code, sensors, and route programming.
Block Code Intermediate
Variables, loops, conditionals, custom functions, and an introduction to PID control.
C Programming
RobotC, autonomous skills, and PID tuning. End the program with an autonomous skills run for the current IQ game.
When the courses run.
Up to 8 students per class. Spots fill early — book a free trial to claim yours.
Everything your child needs to learn and compete.
Structured 8-class courses
A guided technical foundation in mechanical systems, engineering design, and VEX programming.
Access to our facility
Full access to robot parts, tools, supplies, and the practice field during open hours.
Coaching
Ongoing coaching from Anson Lai & Gian Bangayan throughout the competition season.
VEX IQ events
Real competition experience through official VEX IQ events — at no extra cost on top of the Competition Program.
Hands-on learning, real outcomes.
Whether beginner or experienced, every student gets to build, program, and compete — even in their first year.
Abstract thinking
Students learn to think beyond instructions. Through hands-on building and strategy, they develop genuine abstract-thinking skills.
Problem solving
Every challenge in VEX IQ is a puzzle. Students are encouraged to experiment, fail fast, iterate, and improve.
Community
Schools can’t always give every student equal involvement. Making sure they do is something we take pride in.
